USP: Unique Selling Proposition or Ubiquitous Similar Proposition?

A true USP(Unique Selling Proposition) comes when the product/service features have exclusive differentiators in terms of:

  1. Branding
  2. Quality/integrity/excellence
  3. Customer Satisfaction/Service
  4. Distinctive image/packaging
  5. Perceived Value For Money (VFM)
  6. Niche exclusivity
  7. Innovation, ‘Leading Edge’

Anything that is generic and does not offer any measurable benefit will be the Ubiquitous Similar Proposition – vain yelling and no selling.
